Divorce is too often a painful, contentious process.
If you and your spouse would like to attempt a confidential mediation and finalize your divorce without incurring the expense or difficulties of litigation, we can act as neutral mediators that do not represent either party. We try to help you reach a marital settlement agreement that is satisfactory to both of you. If you have questions concerning your legal rights, you are free to consult your own independent counsel.
The divorce mediation process can normally be completed in one day. If you are unsuccessful, we can schedule a follow-up mediation to work out the remaining details. If no agreement can be reached, either party may file for divorce.
If you hired us to conduct a divorce mediation, we cannot represent either party in a subsequent divorce proceeding. And, subject to certain very exceptions, your discussions and negotiations at the mediation are confidential and cannot be disclosed or used in the divorce proceeding.
Contact us today if you would like to learn more about using a neutral mediator to help reach a marital settlement agreement.
